Yes, we all have responsibilities and some are different from others due to physical or mental disabilities. But, in reality we all have the same general responsibilities becuase there is technology assistance available for people with disabilities. We all have the responsbility to contribute to our society to the best of our abilities given our unique circumstances. This country has really taken on some big responsibilities not only in Canada but all over the world with our military organizations and other non profit relief organizations (i.e. The Red Cross).

Hey Chantelle. Again you have really good points! I found it ironic how you talked about how you should be procrastinating about the stuff you're doing when you should be studying because it's so true. I usually discover myself procrastinating, about studying in particular, only to discover that time has ran out. Such a thing has happened to me a lot in the horse world. I wait until the last minute to work with one of my horses and of course that will be the moment that they decide not to cooperate, so I end up with a large problem on my hands! You're right about how you said procrastination affects fate a lot. Depending on where you want to go in life, school can be important and procrastination will affect where you go. Procrastination can be a huge problem, not just for a few individuals like Hamlet, but for everyone.

Hey, Chantelle. You had some really good points. I do believe that genetics and environment both play a large role in shaping a person. In Biology, we talked about the importance of genetics. I never realized that there's a gene that influences intelligence, music pitch, athleticism, hair color, eye color... You get the idea. In this way, it's obvious that genetics are very important. However, I believe that just because the person has the gene for music pitch or the gene for intelligence doesn't necessarily mean that they will end up doing that. It all depends upon what they like, and if their environment doesn't allow them to experience music or school then it doesn't really matter if they have the gene. They won't get the chance to perform to their best abilities, or might not even want to! The article that you showed portrayed your argument quite well.

Hey, Chantelle. Good examples! I definitely agree when you say that procrastination can affect your fate. Procrastination causes huge problems! I found it ironic when you said you should be procrastinating about the things you are doing instead of studying. I can totally relate to this. Human nature is really odd; I know that I should be studying and not doing something else, but I just keep telling myself I can always do it later. The problem being that for me later often doesn't come. However, I do believe that procrastination in very small doses isn't necessarily a bad thing. It causes you think twice and choose the wiser decision. This can be a good thing for people who make rash decisions. However, there does come a time when procrastination becomes unhealthy and therefore affects fate!

Hey, Chantelle. I agree that both sides are incredibly influential. Before taking Biology, I would have said that environment is way more influential. I was shocked to discover that genes play such a huge part in our make-up. Our parents can practically design their children for heaven's sake! I mean they can decide what color of hair, eyes, etc. their children have. They can also decided if their children are intelligent, athletic, musical, etc. I'd never realized that genes were such a huge part. I can imagine that this must have been an incredibly difficult topic to argue. I mean, there's a lot of information concerning why environment is so important to a child. This shows in the forensic shows that are on TV now, like Criminal Minds or Bones, where profiling is so huge. The FBI can practically describe the unsub's family life. However, it I've never seen quite as much information concerning the genetics. But the link you posted definitely helped. Good response!

I have to agree with Ms. Waldner on this one. You put alot of time into this one and have done a very good job. Everything you mention about who shapes your identity when growing up gets me thinking and realizing that I have shaped my identity on the same ways as you. Many people forget how much their parents help them out and get on the right tracks since they we knee high. I also agree with you on the part about trying to fit in with your friends. They should respect you for who you are. Good job on the entry Chantelle!

Very good job on this entry Chantelle,

I agree with what you said aobut Hamlet. Hamlet is a very cleaver character. He is in love with her and wants nothing but that but, at the same time doesnt agree with her remarying so soon after he late husband's death. I know I would feel the same way

Very good job hope you keep it up!

sadly I agree with the sister, your closing line did a great job of summing it all up. I also agree with you that most relationships are hard to predict and we will not know until something actually happens, while other relationships seem so obvious.

Chantelle,
Here I am commenting on your final blog entry.. almost finished my assignment. I agree with using the word CAN't.. as I also talked about that word in my blog entry. Your video also once again completely related to the blog topic.. expressing your point very well. Doubting yourself can lead to more than just depression, it can create long time problems such as a low self confidence. I think if you believe in yourself you will be way farther ahead than thinking in the word Can't.

Chantelle,
Here I am commenting on your blog again.. maybe because its the day before the due date and I'm trying to get done so I can go home. Anyways again I completely agree with your connection with Hamlet's character as it is my simliar opinon as well. As I mentioned in my blog I would go crazy if my mom would have remarried right after my dad had passed away. I can also relate to you as you cannot be in love with females.. because i completely understand. lol. Anyways I should prolly be going to read your last blog and comment on that one as it is almost 2:00.
